The SALMASTRA project was born in Castiglioncello, the town on the Tuscan coast where I was born and raised, once also known as the “Pearl of the Tyrrhenian”.
It’s a land I carry in my soul: the salty air, the crystal-clear waters, the pine woods, the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, the greenish rocks, the grainy sand of the bay, the seasons following one another, alternating between hot, chaotic Summers and quiet, melancholy Winters.
From this deep bond with my land comes the inspiration that still guides every one of my collections.
